Hair Curler Tip: Place The Wire In Front

Posted by Emily Kenison on

Wondering how to get your RobeCurls Curling Headband to stay in place to feel secure? The key is to place the wire towards the front of your head with the plush side towards the back.

You may be thinking, but Emily, what does that even mean???

Let’s break it down.

When you receive your Curling Headband in the mail, you will initially notice that one side has an integrated wire. That TPU-coated aluminum wire helps keep your Curling Headband secure on your head and can help make tighter curls or looser waves with a simple twisting technique.

The other side of the interior of your heatless hair curler is a plush microfiber fleece with H²air-Tex technology that wicks away moisture. That plushy side is what locks in the shape of your curls too and is naturally antimicrobial to ensure it doesn’t harbor any unwanted moisture.

Once you’ve established which side the wire is on, take your heatless hair curler and fold it in half. Then, as you are putting the Curling Headband on your head, place the wire side in the front. If the wire is behind, it will feel like it is pulling backward or slipping off your head, which isn’t the most comfortable.

Once the wire is placed in front, you can do the rest of the steps easily by wrapping your hair on either side of the Curling Headband in two-inch sections until you get to your ear. Once you get to your ear, wrap the rest of your hair around and tie it off each side with your matching Skinny Scrunch!
